PROJECT LID: PUBLIC CALL FOR BIH SMEs FOR PARTICIPATION IN EU COSME TRAINING PROGRAMME EXTENDED

Within the scope of the “Local Integrated Development (LID)” Project, which is primarily funded by the European Union (EU) and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme in Bosnia and Herzegovina (UNDP), the “Public call for SMEs from Bosnia and Herzegovina for participation in the training for accessing financial resources through EU COSME programme” has been announced.

COSME is the EU programme for the Competitiveness of Enterprises and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). It runs from 2014 to 2020 with a planned budget of €2.3bn. Since February 2017, BiH SMEs are eligible to apply for the COSME funds and connect with potential partners from the EU.

The main goals of this public call are the following:

·         To strengthen capacities of BiH SMEs in the context of preparing applications for EU COSME programme;

·         To raise awareness on the importance of EU funds and EU development opportunities for the private sector development in BiH.

Within this public call, eligible applicants will be engaged in the 6-day specialist modular training COSME programme. Upon the completion of the training, 3 BiH SMEs will receive technical support to develop full project proposals and apply for funding though a relevant COSME Public Call.

As part of the application process, all applicants must submit the following documentation:

1.       Filled-in and signed application forms;

2.       CV with clear description of professional experience, including the CEFR level of English language proficiency.

All applications, including supporting documentation (in PDF format), should be submitted electronically via e-mail registry.ba@undp.org with an e-mail subject „Project LID: Application for participation in COSME training programme for SMEs“.

The deadline for submission of applications is 20 September 2018 until 17:00 hrs., CET. Applications received after the expiry of the deadline will not be considered.

During the public call duration, all additional inquiries can be submitted via e-mail registry.ba@undp.org with clearly stated reference of the public call in the e-mail subject.
