Livestock Vaccination in Flooded Areas

Thousands of livestock is directly affected after the huge floods that hit BiH. The vaccination against anthrax, tetanus, and other diseases is compulsory, in order to maintain and save livestock fund.
For the cause, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) ensured around 140,000 doses of vaccines, thanks to the donation from USAID and the Government of the Kingdom of Norway, whose distribution began in four cantons of FBiH and the affected areas in the RS. Importantly, the distribution of the vaccines is in line with the Unit for Civil Protection of FBiH and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forest and Water Management of RS.
The first doses of vaccines are distributed yesterday, while the second part will be shipped by the end of June.
