In cooperation with the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the financial support of the Government the United States of America, the UNDP in BiH works on the expansion of this mechanism to ensure equal treatment and access to support and protection of victims/witnesses in criminal cases processed by the Cantonal Court and the Prosecutor's Office in Zenica-Doboj canton.

  • Landslide Risk Management: Training held for establishment of the landslide cadaster at the local level in BiHDec 14, 2015Training on the use of GIS software was held in Sarajevo (GIS - Geographic Information System), and nine laptops donated by the Government of Japan were delivered, in order to establish a landslide cadaster (geographical survey) in the local self-government units in Bosnia and Herzegovina, on December 12th 2015.

  • Concrete barriers installed along the bank of the Bosna River in DobojDec 14, 2015A ceremony to mark the completed installation of concrete barriers along the Bosna River in Doboj took place December 14. UNDP carried this out under the project "Support to Flood Recovery and Risk Mitigation in BiH", which aims to mitigate flood risks for 4,500 households. The project commenced on 6 October this year, and in its entirety is worth BAM 625,000, funded by the UK Government (BAM 425,000) and the City of Doboj (BAM 200,000).
